Summer Fun on a Budget

By | June 7, 2016

Well – its that time again. School is almost finished here in Virginia which means summer is just around the corner. I remember when summer meant free time galore and easy living. As a grown-up, I associate summer with spending money. Summertime to me means more trips, more time in the car, and don’t forget those expensive summer camps. My heart begins to race just thinking about it.

Though, this year is going to be different. This summer, I am making some changes that I hope my boys and my wallet will like. This year is going to be littered with staycations, budget events, and summertime projects. But don’t fret, I will make sure you are along for the journey.

Starting this week, I am starting a weekly Summertime Fun series where I will highlight some of the summer activities I have planned for my boys. We also have several mini vacations that I will be writing about. I will be revealing my “vacationing fabulous on a budget” plans to help you with your summer planning.

This is going to be a great summer and I look forward to sharing it with you!
