School Shopping On A Budget
yes, it’s that time again. Oh the joy and wildness of fighting others parents out for a 2-pocket folder. I loath this time of year. But we must face it so here are some of my tips for saving money.
Boys are cheaper: Sorry to admit it but young boys could care less about clothes and designers. Right now, my oldest is more concerned about comfort over style. So, I shop throughout the year. In late spring, I was able to score several pairs of pants under $6/each. My big score this year was a $55 pair of Gap jeans on sale for $5! Trust me, shop throughout the year and you will save.
Coupons Coupons Coupons: I just spent my Sunday morning cutting out all the coupons in my Sunday paper from companies like sharpies, mead, and hi-lite. Not only can I save money buying on a tax-free weekend but I can also add additional savings with glorious wonderful coupons!!
Eye on the Target: I really can’t stress the amazing wonderful savings you can experience from Target. Check out my article which explains how you can triple and quadruple dip to save serious dinero.
Reap the Rewards: Use apps like Swagbucks and Ibotta to get money for your purchases. All you need to do is add the item to your app, snap a picture of the receipt, and watch the money roll in. Check out my article about these great apps or click on the apps on the right to reap the rewards!
