Pamper the Mama: Jamberry Nails
I finally had an opportunity to pamper myself. Yes be pampered between school assignments, work, and diaper changes. I jumped into unknown waters and received some amazing Jamberry samples from Christy Adams, a rep for Jamberry Nails.
I thought about doing a whole set but then settled on the fun accent nail idea. I had never ventured the accent nail route so now was the time to try it. I checked out all the many samples and settled on one that would match the cool polish I got from Julep.
Let me tell you, I had my nails painted and the accent nails set within 4 minutes. Now that is a process I can deal with. Especially since I did this between cleanup and lunch for the boys. My time was limited and this was the perfect little pick me up this queen bee needed to look good and feel great.
The process is very simple and Christy provided me with a YouTube link explaining the process of applying the appliqués. I had all the application products at home including a hairdryer and cuticle pusher to push back those cuticles. The prep was no different than any other process I would do before painting my nails. Applying the appliqué was super easy and heating up the appliqué only took 3 to 5 seconds.
Once in position, I used the hair dryer again across the nail to set it and removed the excess. I only had to file down a small amount then I was done! I followed up by painting all my other nails and finished the process with a gloss over all.
Would I do this again? You bet! It was such a cute way to change my look with little to no effort. Next time, I am going to try all of my nails.
Check out what Christy and Jamberry has to offer. There are so many amazing colors and styles and the prices are so affordable. It’s the perfect way to pamper the mama.
