So, I took a monumental step in taking back my life. I quit my job! Well I was polite and gave them 8 weeks notice because I am a big believer in not burning bridges. I have been discussing, on this blog, my approach to becoming a “mompreneur”. Giving notice to my employer has officially made that a reality.
So how am I feeling about this change? I am scared out of my mind! I have been working since I was 16 years old. I worked while I was in college and started working five months after I graduated college. I have never been without a job my entire working career. Though, I would not say I am without a job. If you’ve been following this blog, you know about my octopus approach. I will have the octopus approach links at the bottom of this blog to help you too.
Over the past few months, I have been working on ways to bring additional income into the house. Several of these have become rather successful for me including this blog. Now, all these approaches are not equaling what I currently bring home but they are making a difference.
Overall, I am excited to see where this adventure takes me. I feel like I am stepping into the great wide open… Just ready to take in what the world is willing to give.
