In previous posts, I have boasted about my subscription box addiction. I love them to pieces. Though, I have really cut back because we are trying to save money so I have limited our family to no more. Its sad but it is the world we currently live in. Talking to other moms around the way, I see that we are not the only ones. The subscription box “phase” is beginning to die down and well – starting the end of an era.
The newest sub box to announce their closing is Citrus Lane. Oh how I loved CL and their weekly boxes. They introduced my family and many friends to amazing toys and products. I really loved my sub boxes from them and I never had a “bad” box. They announced last month that December is their last box. It is sad really but I have seen the decline of sub boxes over the last year so it was bound to happen.
If you are looking for a great “final” box, you may want to signup for this month. This box could either suck royally or be a box full of great “empty the warehouse” goodies. I decided to take the gamble. CL has agreed to cancel the subscription after this box so there is no commitment beyond this box. Plus you are getting 2 for the price of 1. It suckered me in.
Its worth the gamble!
